REVIEW: BLIND PILGRIM

Blind Pilgrim are back with their take on the deep south classic Rosie. With a crackle and hiss stomp reminiscent of the original, this is authentic way-down-in-the-delta blues. The call and response verses are faithful in their structure, but once the chorus hammers its way in, the band kick it up a level creating something that commands and deserves attention. The B-side Knife in my Side is a worthy contender with its bluesy slide guitar and laid back feel.
