This London based two-piece describe themselves as 'armed with loud guitars, growling vocals, tub thumping drums and crashing cymbals' and declare on Facebook that because they were unable to find the right bass player have carried on regardless. The Diamond Lights consist of Chris Hornby on guitar and lead vocals and Glenn Fryatt on percussion and backing vocals. Their sound is big, fast and unashamedly loud with a sprawly Englishness that shines through their rapid-paced lyrics. They played at The Old Blue Last this week in support of Horsefight at Metal Fridayz. Photos: Robin Pope
